14 March 2024Opening of Water Pressure Exhibition, Hamburg
We are excited to announce the opening of the exhibition “Water Pressure: Designing for the Future” at Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe (MK&G)
on the 14th of March!
OOZE was commissioned by MK&G and Jane Withers Studio to contribute to the exhibition with a parallel assignment: “Reimagine Water Flows”, an installation that rethinks and transform the current water systems into alternative sustainable models. The work investigates the influence of water (mis)management, which ripples across distinct yet interconnected scales. Through a large-scale mural, the exhibition investigates the water challenges for a building - the MK&G - to the city of Hamburg and to the larger Elbe River basin.
On this occasion,
Henk Ovink (Executive Director, Global Commission on the Economics of Water)
Eva Pfannes (OOZE Architects & Urbanists, Rotterdam)
Jane Withers (Curator "Water Pressure", Jane Withers Studio, London)
will exchange and debate around the current water crisis and the opportunities of change for a water safe future.
Moderation: Prof. Tulga Beyerle, MK&G Director
